Lens Inspiration not working

When I click the Inspiration tab within Lens, nothing will load. With 0 filters on, it says “Too many filters We were unable to find any ads that meet your filter or search criteria”. Even when I push clear filters, that error message pops up. I would like to find inspiration that is related to our brand.

I would love to be able to link our companies Triplewhale account into Foreplay so that we can review creative using the Triplewhale metrics we focus on.

Sub boards

It would be great to have a sub-board option in each board we create so we can organize the ads based on formats, awareness, etc. without the need for 10s of boards

Note on creative

I will love to have a section where you can add note under the creative you saved. That way you can easily send a folder to the client with the notes of why this creative all in one place

Transcript in French

Hello, It seems there is no fonction for the French transcription of a video. It automatically transcribe it in English. I would like to have the french transcript, like on the original video.

Flagging inappropriate content

I’d like to be able to flag inappropriate content. I’m not sure how the ads have even gone live but would be good to remove from here.

Some ads not reflecting the language that I have selected

I often get ads that aren’t in English despite filtering for English, room for improvement here.

Filtering by gender the ad intended to target

Would love to see this as most ads are very much intended for a specific gender.

Clicking on page name in Discovery page should include option to visit meta ad library.

There is no easy way to visit the ad library from the ad discovery page. Please add a simple link to the dropdown when you click the page name.

Default name when downloading your own creatives

When you are downloading your own creatives, the default name should match the Ad name they're running as. This way you can feed them into Claude for example and attach a report you can have Claude analyse them more easily.

Add a "Run-Time" Filter — The Single Biggest Signal of a Winning Creative

The problem When researching competitor ads, the strongest indicator that a creative actually works is how long it's been running. Brands kill underperforming ads fast, so anything that's been live for 30+ days is almost certainly a proven winner that has survived rigorous performance testing. Right now in Foreplay, there's no way to filter a brand's library by run-time. That means I have to manually scroll through every ad, check launch dates one by one, and eyeball which ones are evergreen vs. just launched yesterday. On a brand with hundreds of active ads, this turns a 5-minute research task into an hour of clicking. The request Add a "Run-Time" filter (alongside the existing filters for format, platform, etc.) with preset ranges: 7+ days 15+ days 30+ days 3+ months 6+ months 12+ months A custom date range input on top of that would be the cherry on the cake for power users. Why this matters For creative strategists and performance marketers, run-time is the #1 first-pass filter. It instantly separates noise (ads launched this week that might flop) from signal (ads that have proven themselves). Without it, the library is a haystack. With it, it's a curated list of winners worth studying. I'll be honest: another tool in this space already has this exact filter, and it's the main reason I open it for run-time-based research instead of Foreplay. Closing that gap would make Foreplay my one-stop shop — and I suspect a lot of other users feel the same. Would love to see this prioritized 🙏

Limited coverage for unknown DTC domains — no direct Meta Ads Library search

Tested the API for a use case where, given an arbitrary company domain, we need to detect whether it has active Meta ads. Hit a significant coverage issue — getBrandsByDomain and discovery/ads only return results for ~20% of domains, as smaller DTC stores that haven't been saved into anyone's swipefile simply don't appear in the database. What we really need is an endpoint that queries Meta Ads Library directly for any arbitrary domain, regardless of whether it's been saved in Foreplay before. Would love to see this on the roadmap.

Deeper Lens View

Would be great to see a broader scope of your own ad creative without having to create a report. We use the tagging feature, but finding new creative that was recently launched is very difficult and it would be helpful if the Lens also worked as a Spyder view of your own brand to see everything across the board, rather than just a performance or comparison report.

Image filter bug

Hi, when we select the filter format “Image”, it doesn’t include the image ads that have multiple ratio (DCO), which is a problem because a most of them are in DCO. And if we select the filter format “DCO” it includes videos also. So it’s impossible to filter correctly to only get images (with and without multiple ratio).

max brands filter

when you enter explore to look for inspo you see mostly batches of the same brand and dont see much diversity in brands, what could help is to do in the filters an option of max per brand and you decide if you want to se 1-10 ads per brand or none that you can see all that the brand has so if you wan to do competitors research you could easily find more brands and learn
