Add a "Run-Time" Filter โ The Single Biggest Signal of a Winning Creative
The problem When researching competitor ads, the strongest indicator that a creative actually works is how long it's been running. Brands kill underperforming ads fast, so anything that's been live for 30+ days is almost certainly a proven winner that has survived rigorous performance testing. Right now in Foreplay, there's no way to filter a brand's library by run-time. That means I have to manually scroll through every ad, check launch dates one by one, and eyeball which ones are evergreen vs. just launched yesterday. On a brand with hundreds of active ads, this turns a 5-minute research task into an hour of clicking. The request Add a "Run-Time" filter (alongside the existing filters for format, platform, etc.) with preset ranges: 7+ days 15+ days 30+ days 3+ months 6+ months 12+ months A custom date range input on top of that would be the cherry on the cake for power users. Why this matters For creative strategists and performance marketers, run-time is the #1 first-pass filter. It instantly separates noise (ads launched this week that might flop) from signal (ads that have proven themselves). Without it, the library is a haystack. With it, it's a curated list of winners worth studying. I'll be honest: another tool in this space already has this exact filter, and it's the main reason I open it for run-time-based research instead of Foreplay. Closing that gap would make Foreplay my one-stop shop โ and I suspect a lot of other users feel the same. Would love to see this prioritized ๐

Limited coverage for unknown DTC domains โ no direct Meta Ads Library search
Tested the API for a use case where, given an arbitrary company domain, we need to detect whether it has active Meta ads. Hit a significant coverage issue โ getBrandsByDomain and discovery/ads only return results for ~20% of domains, as smaller DTC stores that haven't been saved into anyone's swipefile simply don't appear in the database. What we really need is an endpoint that queries Meta Ads Library directly for any arbitrary domain, regardless of whether it's been saved in Foreplay before. Would love to see this on the roadmap.

Deeper Lens View
Would be great to see a broader scope of your own ad creative without having to create a report. We use the tagging feature, but finding new creative that was recently launched is very difficult and it would be helpful if the Lens also worked as a Spyder view of your own brand to see everything across the board, rather than just a performance or comparison report.

Image filter bug
Hi, when we select the filter format โImageโ, it doesnโt include the image ads that have multiple ratio (DCO), which is a problem because a most of them are in DCO. And if we select the filter format โDCOโ it includes videos also. So itโs impossible to filter correctly to only get images (with and without multiple ratio).

max brands filter
when you enter explore to look for inspo you see mostly batches of the same brand and dont see much diversity in brands, what could help is to do in the filters an option of max per brand and you decide if you want to se 1-10 ads per brand or none that you can see all that the brand has so if you wan to do competitors research you could easily find more brands and learn

seeing in the discovery brand page which ad you already saved and in wich file
It would be nice if you could see which ads you have already saved in which folder when you search for a particular brand and are saving ads for it.

Saving To Swipe File
In discovery you can easily save a post to one board - but if I wanted to save it to multiple boards its difficult because as the green bar appears the drop-down vanishes. Could you add the drop down to the green bit too?

"Best Creatives" filter in @Discovery > Brands > Brand, or in @Spyder
You can open any brand, activate the "Best Creatives" filter, and it will display the top performers of all time (or within a specific timeframe) based on AI analysis and various metrics.

Automatic tagging for all creatives
It would be great to have an option to automatically assign tags (like #ugc, #no-voice-over, #before-after, #free-gift, etc.) in the same way that you automatically analyze patterns in AI analysis.

Filter to hide duplicates @Discover / @Spider
Some brands apply the same creative and text across multiple ad sets. I would like to hide those to view only the unique creatives.

# of filtered ads in Discovery > Brands > Brand >[Applied filters]
It feels like I'm just scrolling forever, and I can't tell when it will stop.

Expert boards bug
Saw a bug where if the Expert has enough boards, they are going out of the bounds of the screen (The list of boards). To view them, I needed to zoom out the whole page.

Add a country filter in search
Add the feature to filter results by country, the only reason i didnโt subscribe is that i canโt filter ads for my market (non us & eu )
